Slideluck - Trieste

Slideluck Trieste relaunches the open call!

All photographers are invited to participate by sending their multimedia slideshow.

The theme for the first Slideluck Trieste is “OUT OF SIGHT” curated by Francesco Liggieri (No Title Gallery).

We are used to see and follow big events that enjoy media attention and gather a great amount of people like fashion shows, theatre productions, cinema and music events, art shows, biennials etc. Those shows are the final result of months and months of hard work made by insiders, journalists and public following them live along with a silent army of people working hard to make it all happen: constructors, technicians, interns, make up artists, tailors, producers, cooks, waiters, assistants of any kind and so on.. The interpretation could be very vaste and open, from a mere reportage, to street photography, or a more social, conceptual or documentary approach. We are interested in everything hidden behind a scene but makes the final result perfect.

The best projects selected be part of Slideluck Editorial, a new platform that aims at showcasing the best stories presented by Slideluck around the world, with a focus on multimedia. The site has the double objective of showing the breadth of our photography storytelling (included a section dedicated to ‘Special Guests’) and giving tips and advices on effective multimedia creation. This platform will be curated by Maria Teresa Salvati, Slideluck London and Slideluck Europe director.

Maria Teresa Salvati will also select one project to be featured on GUP Magazine as interview and online portfolio (www.gupmagazine.com).

In addition, one project will be selected for the exhibition within KIOOSK Offline series. (www.kiooskphotography.tumblr.com).

Più informazioni su come partecipare qui: http://slideluck.com/submissions/. Selezionate la città Trieste!
